Q. How do I find sound recordings?

The Library’s collection of approximately 3,000 sound recordings supports the music curriculum. Materials in this collection do not circulate and must be used within the Library. All sound recordings should be requested at the Circulation Desk. Circulation staff can provide help locating appropriate equipment for listening to CDs, tapes, and phonorecords.

Search for a specific sound recording in the Library Catalog.

You can also browse all of Wheaton’s sound recordings (sorted by date, most recent first).

For help with Music Research, see the Music Subject Guide, or contact a librarian.
